The Story of How Santa Was Born

In Klaus, there’s a young man named Jesper who doesn’t want to work hard. He’s sent to a cold, snowy town to be the postman, where no one is kind to each other. But Jesper meets a man named Klaus, who makes toys, and together, they start giving toys to children, making the town a happier place.

One key moment is when Jesper realizes that the kindness they spread has brought the whole town together, teaching everyone that giving is more important than receiving.

There’s a fan theory that Klaus was actually Santa Claus before becoming the mysterious toy maker. What if Klaus was just one of many magical beings that spread joy to children across the world?

What if Jesper had never met Klaus, and the town stayed sad and lonely forever? Or, imagine a prequel where we see Klaus’s life before Jesper, and how he became the generous, mysterious man who brought joy to so many.

An alternate ending could have Jesper deciding to stay in the town, becoming a permanent part of its transformation. Maybe a sequel shows how Jesper and Klaus continue their mission, helping other towns learn about kindness and love.
